Stickman v2 — The Showcase: A Product Changelog You'll Actually Watch
Growth, new templates, and Collaboration. The mascot's second outing doubles as a release note — a bike intro, a dance, a high-five, and a quarter of updates threaded through it. Here's how we turned a changelog into a film.
Overview
Growth, new templates, and Collaboration.
The mascot's second outing doubles as a release note — proof that a changelog nobody reads can become a video people actually watch.
The story
A bike intro, a dance, a fractal-tree petal catch, a high-five, and an "I ♥ B2V" playcard, threaded through the quarter's growth stats, the new Sakura template, and the launch of Collaboration.
It's personality laid on top of a product changelog — the same mascot, used to walk through real Blog2Video releases.
How we made it
This was the first film to lean hard on our reusable showcase system. Some of the craft:
- App-window mockups that carry each real feature — the new Sakura template, the launch of Collaboration, and the quarter's growth numbers.
- A zoom rig and a landscape/portrait split rendered from one file.
- Mascot bits — a bike intro, a dance, a petal catch, a high-five, an "I ♥ B2V" playcard — that give the changelog a personality.
- It depends on the Sakura @fontsource packages being installed in the Remotion project.
The takeaway
A changelog nobody reads becomes a video people actually watch.
That's the whole idea behind Blog2Video — even a release note deserves an audience. Turn yours into one.
