blog2video.app Beehiiv integration: newsletter connecting to a video player.

Tutorial

Connect Beehiiv to Blog2Video in 5 steps

Create an API key in Beehiiv, connect it to Blog2Video, and turn every newsletter post into a video with a thumbnail your readers can tap.

Five steps, one API key

Blog2Video reads your Beehiiv posts through an API key, so you never paste a link by hand. The video follows the key from Beehiiv to Blog2Video and then follows the finished video all the way to a reader's phone. The written steps are below.

  • Create an API key in Beehiiv
  • Copy it once
  • Paste and connect
  • Pick your posts
  • Send the video back to Beehiiv

1. Create an API key in Beehiiv

In Beehiiv open Settings, then Workspace settings, then API. Click Create new API key and name it Blog2Video.

2. Copy the key, Beehiiv shows it once

Beehiiv displays the new key one time. Copy it before you close the window. If you lose it, create another.

3. Paste and connect in Blog2Video

In Blog2Video open the Connect tab and choose Beehiiv. Paste your API key and click Connect. If your workspace has several publications, pick the one you want and click Connect publication. The key is stored encrypted.

4. Pick your posts

Click New, open the Connect tab, and your Beehiiv posts show up, drafts and premium posts included. Tick one or several. Each becomes its own video.

5. Send the video back to Beehiiv

Email can't play video, so Beehiiv gets a click-to-watch thumbnail: readers tap it and the video plays in their browser. Click the Beehiiv icon on the finished project. On a Beehiiv Max or Enterprise plan, Blog2Video adds the thumbnail to your post for you, as a new draft or in the original post. On any other plan, click Copy for editor to copy the newsletter block, then paste it into the Beehiiv editor.

Connect once, done

Connect once and every Beehiiv post is one click from a video. Try it at blog2video.app.
